Our Vision

Each school within the Torfield and Saxon Mount Academy Trust has its own unique ethos, identity, values and vision. One of the aims of the Trust is to positively develop the work of each school by identifying areas of strength or excellence and to then share resources, practice, expertise and knowledge across the Trust. In this way, although the schools will retain their own identities, some common policies, procedures and practices will develop and improve over time. By taking a positive and proactive approach we will improve the opportunities and services we provide to our children and young people.

Although each school is different, we have identified some common aims that are shared across each school and describe our vision for the success of the Trust:

• improve the life chances of pupils by providing the best possible educational opportunities for our learners, allowing them to work towards independence and to achieve well over time;
• To continually strive to improve standards in every aspect of Trust provision;
• By providing consistently high quality educational experiences across all phases of their education, we aim to raise aspirations for children and young people, enabling them to be confident and successful in their next step in education or training and in their preparation for adulthood.
