This week, Torfield saw its largest-ever group of Year Five and Six pupils take part in a three-day residential trip to Bewl Water.
For many of our pupils, this was their first time spending nights away from home without a parent or carer. We see this opportunity as an important step in fostering their personal development and independence. It also allows them to experience a range of outdoor and sporting activities beyond those available in school, including abseiling, canoeing, bushcraft, and team-building challenges.
Experiences like this are only possible thanks to our dedicated staff, who go above and beyond to ensure our pupils are safe, happy, and able to make the most of these opportunities.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils for embracing this challenge and of our staff for making it possible.
