Torfield - World Book Day at Waterstones

Asia Class enjoyed a fantastic educational visit this week. They put their road safety knowledge into practice by walking all the way from Croft Road to the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre where they were welcomed into Waterstones bookshop.

The children had the chance to spend their World Book Day vouchers on a new book just for them before they headed upstairs to read enjoy their new books over a delicious hot chocolate kindly donated by Waterstones.

We really appreciate the staff at Waterstones going out of their way to make our pupils feel so welcome in their shop. This was an incredibly valuable experience the children all enjoyed.
